Professor David Gershoni

 Professor David Gershoni was born in Israel . He completed his academic education (all 3 degrees) at the Technion in 1986 . As a graduate student he received the Wolf prize and a Fullbright Fellowship for post doctorate studies. After graduation he joined AT&T Bell-Laboratories in Murray Hill N.J., where he stayed as a member of the Technical Staff
untill 1991. In 1991 he joined the Physics Department and the Solid State Institute. David Gershoni holds The Joseph and Bessie Feinberg Academic Chair, and he is the receipient of the 2004 Technion's Taub prize for excellence in research. Professor Gershoni is a fellow of the American Physical Society.
